Here is a very cute version of the "Frannie" dress by Sew Beautiful in a ladybug print with raspberry colored piping. I managed to go from purchasing the fabric to taking it's photo in less than a week, a new record for me. Riley helped out a whole lot by watching the little folks so I could work on it. Thank goodness for older daughters, they really are a blessing.

Here is an adaptation of "Once Upon A Time" from Australian Smocking and Embroidery issue #93. It turned out quite cute. I still have a lot to learn, repeat A LOT to learn. The bias band at the neckline is thick and does not lay quite right and the flowers look just plain strange. If the threads could talk on this one they would have quite a story. I started it while watching my father pass and finished it while my mom had open heart surgery, and all the things in between. I'm hoping the the next project has a few less tales to tell.
